Bibo lives in a lonely world. It is a world that is mechanical and peculiarly artificial. In reality  , our lone protagonist creates his world through his imagination. It’s a world made up entirely of his routine. The little things he does every day nourish his soul and even bring him happiness.

Bibo finds himself in a world interwoven with machines and melancholy. The only thing he can look forward to every day is to be in the plaza at eight o’clock every morning and give the kids ice creams. However, these children only exist as his own creations.

Without deviating from the truth, we can say that this mechanical, square and inside empty character is representative of many dimensions that characterize man. It makes the viewer think about the idea of ​​humanity and how the human race still finds itself above machines.

The award-winning creators of this film are Anton Chistiakov and Mikhail Dmitriev. In their own words, they hoped to convey a simple reflection of the cycle of humanity with this delicate, symbolic, emotional and moving film.

Over time, people manage to occupy a position in society, just like Bibo, who once sold ice creams. Later, however, there comes a time when everything changes, as we feel compelled to relive only our very best memories of the past. We hide behind a defense mechanism in which the value of the little things in life brings back yesterday’s emotions. These emotions become authentic pillars that support us and give us the energy to keep moving forward.

In this film, the human condition is only present in a small tin robot. This robot represents the last impulses of the human race: melancholy, memory, sadness and enormous affection for the loved ones who push us to do the impossible. And even to create an imaginary world that no longer exists.
